APPI supported the Higher Education Standards Panel (HESP) to design and deliver a structured national consultation on proposed changes to the Higher Education Standards Framework (Threshold Standards).
The project involved designing and facilitating six accessible and interactive consultation sessions across priority focus areas, including racism, disability inclusion, governance and transparency, emerging technology risks, and dedicated sessions for First Nations Peoples and students.
The project delivered a systematic, qualitative analysis of submissions and online feedback, synthesising diverse stakeholder inputs into clear, policy-relevant insights. This analysis identified key issues, areas of consensus and divergence, and matters requiring further examination by HESP.
