The Policymaker Summit is APPI’s flagship annual event, that brings together hundreds of leaders from across government, universities, industry and civil society to explore big ideas and practical approaches to public policy. This year’s Summit will be held on Wednesday, 30 September 2026, in the Great Hall at the University of Technology Sydney.

The theme for this year’s Summit is ‘Policy in a volatile era: rethinking the playbook’. The program will explore how policymakers deliver lasting reform while retaining agility and space for innovation.
