About the project
Australia faces a growing shortage of affordable housing. Modular construction offers a promising solution – building homes faster and with consistent quality using prefabricated components. A research team led by Dr Saeed Banihashemi from the University of Technology Sydney is investigating how modular construction can help address Australia’s housing needs.
